Ventrillo Probs

Hey all i guess im going to get flamed for asking the obvious here,but wth ?!

So ive added all the necessary info in the vent window,but instead of connecting ti just sychronizes over and over again ( starts from 10 goes down..)

ve looked up thousands of threads all morning,and ive concluded that i have to open a UDP6100 port but cos i kinda suck at solving problems i dont understand ExaCly how to do that.
Im using an Airlive router and ive got the its menu up but i dont see what i have to do....im blInd!

Plz help me out if u can i dont wanna get stuck with the BF2 VoIp tonight!!!

you need to log onto your router ,

This is the old configuration for Air Live Router

Type http://192.168.1.1

Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Username: admin
Password: airlive

& goto port forwarding option & select UDP - also make sure that you are opening the port up for the right pc . You may need to type the ip address of this in 192.168.1.x ....

Actually,no,it doesnt really help Sad

i realized so much from my searches through the web,

Now this SS >> http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/7268/92974146.jpg shows were i am so far,

but Ventrilo still wont work and i cant get to save this with IP / MAC Filter Rule Editing activated.

Could u plz tell me what i doing wrong here?

First of all you are in the wrong section of your router , please delete the filter rule as you need configure UPNP select both UDP & TCP Protocols once you have done this yous must enter the port 3864 for internal & external routing ... & enter your pcs local ip address not the routers destination ip or you will just have problems....

Remember to also make sure that UPnp is enabled ....

Please try this & let me know if this works

Im not going to tell u that the Vent i was using was version 2.3.2 Beta no , noSir im not!

Lol this goes for anyone else with the connection timer issue restarting please bloody well download the correct version after Dev's frustration of trying to connect to the server was because his ventrilo client was out-dated lol silly bugger... hehe
